Department of Pathology

Para clinical subjects are taught in Second Professional comprising three semesters i.e. III, IV, & V. The subjects taught are Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology

Department of Pathology with laboratories for Histopathology, Pathology, Cytopathology, Haematology and Immunoassay in the hospital is well equipped. It has modern equipments like 3 part hematology analyzer (for cell counts automated), Semi-auto-biochemistry analyzer (for all biochemical parameters), Automated Tissue Processer (for Biopsy processing), Electrolyte Analyzer ,Histopathalogy, Cyto pathology/FNAC, Electrophoresis (for various Protein estimation).

A well established Central hospital laboratory with 24 hours reporting is being separately maintained. Demonstration Room with over head projector for audiovisual teaching aid for students.

The Departmental Library facility containing all books for undergraduates with recent edition along with Computer is available. A well equipped Museum with 150 gross specimens from various body system with Information Chart and Models in student lab is being maintained.
